  • Collision Damage Waiver - CDW (excluding excess)

  • Fuel – a fuel deposit is also required in many destinations

One Way Hires:

With Hertz's 'Rent-It-Here/Leave-It-There' (RIH-LIT) option, Hertzgives you even more flexibility when planning your European itinerary.Free drop-offs are allowed between many major cities within country ofrental. For intercountry rentals, the RIH-LIT option offers affordabledrop charges for many European cities. One way hires must be confirmedin advance, please ask your Trailfinders travel consultant for furtherdetails.

Insurance/Excess:

The vehicle is insured although a non-waiverable excess will apply (theamount will vary depending on the country and vehicle hired). Theexcess is the maximum the renter is liable for in the event of loss ordamage to the vehicle or third party, provided the vehicle is used inaccordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.Drivers must produce a valid major credit card in their own name and animprint will be taken for the amount of the excess and/or vehicledeposit and held as security. Cash deposits and debit/payment cards arenot accepted.
